On Fear

FROM BEARS (Barry Neil Kaufman):
ON FEAR: When I ask the question - "What scares me?" -- it's as if something outside scares me -- like heights or conflict or guns. Actually, the more useful question is "When do I scare myself and why?" Notice in that question, I'm in charge of my response and emotion, not a victim. That's not bad news; it's great news. Another wonderful question: "How does it serve me to scare myself?"

Love,
Bears
